Marcos Gouvea is serving as our fearless, top-notch leader extraordinaire (aka our president) this year! Marcos is a classics student intrigued by Homer, what people thought of Homer throughout history, and anything soccer-related. The jury is still out on how soccer players tend to interpret Homer.
Peter Scherpelz is a president emeritus, now serving as the treasurer, webmaster, and somewhat musical guy. When he's not playing cello, piano, or out hiking (which is, sadly, most of the time), you'll find in the subterranean depths of the physics building, thinking about superconductors and shouting at his computer when his code doesn't work (which is, of course, the computer's fault and not his). | Grace Kim is our public relations guru, ensuring that you stay
informed, meet other people, and generally find GCF an inviting place to
be! She is completing her Master's in the School of Social Service
Administration this year, and will doing a great deal of volunteer work
this year! Jon Corbett
is our official InterVarsity staff leader, an amazing scholar of the
New Testament, and has been serving here at the University for many
years! He has previously completed graduate work both in mathematics
and theology. Ask Jon about his bike riding and metal detecting if you
get the chance - hopefully he'll have an interesting coin from
Chicagoland's history to show you! |
